Beijing-based State Grid Corp of China (SGCC), which is the world's biggest utility company by revenue, has said that it is planning to acquire Australian power assets in a deal valued at billions of dollars.

PC Market Plunges

IDC and Gartner have highlighted in its recent reports that PC sales have plunged in the first quarter of the year. After the laptop ate the sales in the first quarter and stole the show, Microsoft's reliance on Windows 8 seems to be a little precarious.
The reports have brought into the notice of Microsoft that there are loopholes in the way it betted on Microsoft 8. PC sales have plummeted and Windows 8 has not been advantageous.
