It has been reported that WellPoint, the health insurer is planning to improve its primary-care reimbursement and would also be paying for the care management. It has been informed that the changes are being introduced with the aim of improving the quality of care provided to the patients.

The Private Health Insurance Administration Council's annual report has revealed that insurance industry is reaping great benefits in Australia. As per the data, more than half of Australians, around 52%, now hold private health insurance.

Yesterday, it was revealed that about 1,000 people are opting out of private health insurance plans because of higher expenses. The revelation was made by the Health Insurance Authority.

Penalties being imposed on uninsured motorists by the UK court are not found to be effective enough by the AA Insurance. They say charging a fixed penalty of £200 and imposing six penalty points is not enough to make them realize that they should not repeat this offence.
