The app that comes pre-installed in iPhones would not be present in the new phone or any iPhone upgraded to iOS6. Now with this new app Tens of thousands of additional videos can now be played through the iOS app, notably major-label music videos.

Google's patent search is giving prior art some love as well with the addition of the aptly named "Prior Art Finder" to its patent search tool. In it's bid to become the premier destination for local reviews and online listings, Google will buy Frommer's, a travel guidebooks brand. The brand that was launched in 1957 when Arthur Frommer published his guidebook, `Europe on $5 a day'. An undisclosed amount will be paid by Google for Frommer's brand. This deal will give the Internet giant a vast and growing archive of digital reviews for its local listings, maps and mobile applications.
