Tiffany 2Q net income rises 19%in second quarter

Tiffany & Co. has announced its second quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11. According to the company, it has registered a significant rise in its net income due to superior sales figure.
The company has posted a better revenue record in the Asian and European market and the shoppers bought more high-end jewelry of the company during this period of time in all across the globe.

Tiffany & Co, the luxury jewelry retailer has said that it has seen better-than-expected second-quarter profits. It said that the same went up by 19 per cent which has happened because of the rising demand from tourists.
The maximum rise has happened in Europe and China. But still, the sales figures have failed to meet the expectations of the retailer as the middle-class consumers became more cautious of their spending due to modest spending by them.
Tiffany & Co. Launches a New Store at Shanghai’s Hong Kong Plaza

A new Tiffany & Co. store has been inaugurated in Shanghai's Hong Kong Plaza that is situated on the city’s most famous luxury shopping harbors, and designer boutiques, and a center of business and financial services, the Huai Hai Road.
The store is 6,400-square-feet in width, and is stretched over two-levels.
