Only ‘A’ grades won’t help for admissions to new medical school

Nayang Technological UniversityTo get admission into Singapore’s third medical school simply having ‘A’ grading will not be enough. The students will also need extra qualities like being a team player, being able to communicate well with other and also have excellent inter-personal skills.

The new medical school is to be established by the Nayang Technological University (NTU) in collaboration with the Imperial College London.

Singapore's SingTel second quarter net profit drops 0.2%

SingTelSingapore's leading telecom operator Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. has announced its financial results for second quarter of the fiscal year 2010-11.

The company has informed that, in this reviewed quarter it has suffered a marginal decrease in its net profit figure as compared to it corresponding quarter last year. The company is also known as SingTel.

Directors' Fees up-to $2.45 Million Approved by SingTel Shareholders

A net profit of $1.06 billion was reported by SingTel, for the financial year that ended March 31.
