Forza Motorsport 4 sold around 700 more copies than FIFA 12 in the very first week of its launch, capturing the top spot in the UK all-platforms top 10 chart.
Figures revealed by tracking firm GFK Chart-Track, Turn 10 Studio and Microsoft’s Forza Motorsport 4’s first week sales figure represented the biggest UK launch for a racing title in the history of Xbox 360.

Set to be released in next month, Modern Warfare 3 has been topping the Steam sales charts for the last three consecutive weeks, prompting analysts to predict that it will give tougher competition to Battlefield 3 than earlier expected.
Microsoft’s Xbox 360 continues to dominate console market

The lifetime sales of the Nintendo DS products might have exceeded 50 million units, but Microsoft’s Xbox 360 is still dominating the US games console market.
According to figures compiled by NPD Group, Microsoft sold 438,000 units of Xbox 360 console in September, capturing 42 per cent of the market.
