Recently it was found that the worth of New Plymouth district's residential property has fallen. It has declined almost $180 million while 2007.
And after this from today rating values of home owners in the New Plymouth district will be updated and they would receive it. According to the law, council must provide the rating values every three years.
Last year South Taranaki home owners received theirs rating values, in Stratford District yet it is to be done. It is hoped by next year it will be evaluated.
Despite the fact that residential land values in the New Plymouth district have chiefly increased and capital values is opposite of it that means it has mostly decreased. It is expected that the price a home owner could get on the market.
Excluding the places like the Fitzroy, Strandon and Northgate areas, this happened because in this places land and capital values have increased by 2.5 per cent and 1.7 per cent respectively.
Clifton and Oakura are the real winners of the latest Quotable Value rating figures. Oakura is the district's most expensive area, where the normal house price is $573,256.
