Researchers yesterday informed that people who are over 45 are advised to take in a daily dose of aspirin as it could help in keeping heart disease and cancer away. The benefits of taking in aspirin were far more than its side-effects in people over 45.
According to the opinion of an expert panel the results were of huge importance to public health and people who have a higher risk of these deadly diseases should definitely think of including aspirin in their daily dose to avoid heart disease and cancer.
Scientists also said that consuming a dose of 75mg everyday for five years reduces the risk of bowel cancer deaths by almost a third. This information was given to the Royal Society of Medicine along with the fact that the risk of suffering from a disease also reduced by almost 25 percent just by taking aspirin daily.
Several researches have already suggested that taking a low daily dose could help in lowering the risk of developing heart disease.
The Oxford neurologist, Peter Rothwell, who led the study on bowel cancer said that he took aspiring everyday.
