In Mexico Stewart Stevenson, Scotland's climate change minister has been integrated in the UK assignment at this year's UN climate change conference.
There was a refusal made to the Scottish ministers by the UK government last year to be part of its official assignment in Copenhagen.
Before, there had been an argument about the discussion for the UK as a whole.
Moreover there is confirmation that Mr. Stevenson will be included in the UK team for the conference. On Monday it will be opening in Cancun.
Mr. Stevenson has supposed that he will utilize the occasion to call for the international community. This will motivate in its hard work to embark upon climate change.
There is a dispute made by him that the conversion to a low carbon economy which is reasonable, sustainable and in the end obligatory.
On the other hand there is a warning given by the Mexican government. It is believed unlikely that a broad deal will be available in Cancun.
Hard targets had been settled by the Scottish government.
