Wellington Airport has congratulated Christchurch Airport and the Canterbury region for having secured the services of Air Asia X, and it has welcomed the airline to the country.
The new airline services are expected to provide New Zealand with another largely valuable access route into the dynamic and highly progressive markets of Asia.
Further, the cheap fares of Air Asia X will additionally make visiting the country more available to the travellers coming from both Asia region as well as other connecting markets on the airline's swiftly spreading network.
