Somnaceutics, a biotechnology company based in Auckland was recently in news when it won an award for Sleeptime - a natural sleep enhancing product made of milk, invented by New Zealand scientist, Professor Bob Elliott. They won an award for Innovation in Science and Technology at the Cawthron Institute. A listed company New Image Group which manufactures health and wellness products has acquired the business assets of Somnaceutics. The business assets also include this award winning drug.

The acquiring company claims that the company has made a path breaking invention as most of the available pills for enhancing sleep are herbal and just relax your nerves as opposed to this drug which contains peptide which facilitates sleep for babies when breast fed.

The product is also effective for adults. The company has already conducted a test research which found out that the product is very effective for insomaniacs.
