The one and only New Zealand wine named a Villa Maria wine is in the list of top 100 wines. This list of wines is given by the prestigious US Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

This was the single wine of New Zealand wine to be in the list of 100. The Villa Maria Taylors Pass Sauvignon Blanc 2009 got a title of 'The Most Coveted Wines of 2010'. The list of 100 wines is regarded as the excellent work.

Villa Maria is among good company on the list with the likes of Louis Roederer, Chateau Pontet-Canet.

In this there are some points which include the quality to price ratio, immediate drinkability and rareness. The panel stated that wines included stand for the very best of their group.

Before this listing it was listed in the December subject of Wine Enthusiast Buying Guide as Editors' Choice at 92 Points. And this time also the Villa Maria Wairau Valley Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2009 also received
92 points.
