Waikato Needs Constructive Plan to Remove Drought

Waikato Needs Constructive Plan to Remove DroughtTragedy of innocent farmers in Waikato seems to loom large in the air as the pathetic scenario of dried and hardened faces of farmers perhaps has not melted iron made heart of the supreme authority of the country.

Farmers in Waikato have expressed their grievances and vexation in suppressed tone as they are not satisfied with the attitude of the government.

If the government decides to declare Waikato as highly prone to drought affected region, there must be proper stop gap arrangement to provide financial help to the needy.

Basically till now peasants have already spent lot of money to buy food and water. They have no alternative source to bring the flow of water from the nearby rivers or dam to spoon feed their lands for cultivation. If the government shows humanistic approach towards the farmers, it must prioritize the equal distribution of financial wealth and resources among poor people who are still fighting for survival.

Only street campaigns and public announcements in this regard will not help them to wipe out tear drops from their face. They need constructive plans to bring back smile to their family members.
