$30m agreement increased in Ohakea baseThe final decision on turning Ohakea Air Force Base into New Zealand's major defence force hub is yet not decided by the Government. Today an agreement of $30 million was offered to Mainzeal Property and Construction Ltd.

The extra infrastructure at the base will be built by the Palmerston North Company.

The hub is planned to develop by moving the Linton army base to Ohakea by the government. The everlasting personnel at Waiouru were decreased and appearing at other foundation with Woodbourne and Trentham.

Today Wing Commander Peter Neilson has reported that the construction of 13 engineering workshops covering 11,000 square metres is also in agreement with the Mainzeal. The Royal NZ Air Force will be regulating it. In near future there may be exposing regarding the NZ Army if plans to consolidate at Ohakea.

It was hoped that the work of the building might have been over by June 2012.

The NZDF and especially the Air Force at Ohakea has the most interesting time now. He has alleged that working with Mainzeal is high headed.
