The sales of mortgage for the month of September had continued to remain the same as that of August but the trend of falling forced sales continued, according to data.
The figures of Terralink International displayed that there were 187 forced sales all over the nation for the month of September, as compared to the 188 for the month of August but much below on the 217 for the month of July. The mortgagee sales reached their peak at 264 during May.
The managing director of Terralink, Mike Donald, told that the forced sales continued to remain five times more than the pre-recession period, however now there was a clear downward trend for the first time since the year 2008.
Donald added that the latest statistics showed that there was a little fall for the prior month though but it was the overall trend which was most important.
He further went on to say that during the last quarter a continuing downward trend had been observed that signals, at an overall level, that the tension is relaxing for the property owners.
