Investors urged to spurn unsolicited offers for leading stocks

NZXRecently there was hot gossip over the offers which were redundant and opportunistic given by the investors. These offers were given in six leading New Zealand companies. This will be done for their shares at prices violently below in the stocks which are trading on NZX.

The shares in Vector, Fletcher Building, Telecom, Nuplex, Guinness Peat Group and Contact Energy are given this proposal.

The companies' shareholders will be soon getting letters from different limited partnerships.

A letter proposing $1.56 per share is being forwarded by the Energy Securities LP for Vector shares. It is lower than Vector which was trading at on the NZX today which is 79 cents.

A proposal of $4.07 for Contact Energy shares was discovered by NZPA in a document from NZ Investment Securities. It’s today trading is at $6.20 whereas an proposal of $1.43 for Telecom divides a document from Carlyle Securities as its trading is at $2.17 today.

Fletcher Building has alleged that the offer made to purchase up to 3 million shares for $5.64 per share by Cargill Securities L. P. is not approved by it.
