Acer launches two new phones

Acer launches two new phonesTwo good looking smartphones by Acer have got the public talking at the CES 2011. The one drawing more attention is the Acer Liquid Mini phone. It is a small and compact phone with a size of 11 cm x 6 cm and a touchscreen of
3.2 inch display.

A camera is of 5 megapixels, and the phone also had features like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 512 MB of memory and a 600MHZ processor from Qualcomm. It will be available in a range of five colours, i. e. silver, blue, yellow, white and pink.

However, the one that was shown in Las Vegas this week was a standard glossy black design. The curved case will definitely draw approving and impressed glances and this model will possibly give a feeling of more aesthetically pleasing than ground breaking with its features.

The Liquid Mini operates on Android 2.2 and it has the now obvious apps of Facebook and Twitter lurking on it. It will come to the markets in a few months even though the price is still unknown.

Even the Acer BeTouch E210 makes use of Android 2.2 with a similar memory. However the 416MHz ST Ericsson processor is clearly inferior.
