On Friday, Mozilla has released its Firefox 4 Beta 9. This has been another step towards the open source browser.  It has been expected that, there would be the official debut by next month.
Without having any doubt the latest Firefox 4 Beta 9 is quite faster than its earlier Firefox 3.6.  It has been proved on Mozilla's Kraken benchmark. It has resulted that it is 2.5 times faster.
Moreover, it has been faster to connect and also there have been improvements in the animations fields. This has been done through the execution of compartmentalized garbage collection.
In addition to that it executes a new search engine for viewing tabs called as Panorama. Firefox Panorama has a plus point that it displays the tabs which are currently open and allows those tabs to be combined. As a result, it may provide better access to many sets of tabs when the numbers of tabs are more.
There has been a remodel of the browser's history and bookmarking code which would give better presentation.  This Firefox 4 Beta 9 can be downloaded for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux from Mozilla's site.
