Times are changing and the people too. Once considered as a sin, infidelity has now become partially acceptable to many.
In the startling findings of a survey, which came out as a surprise for many, it was unveiled that men are more stoical if their female partners cheat them with a girl rather than a person from opposite gender.
The review, conducted by the University of Texas, which is situated at Austin, questioned a little more than 700 university students on how they would react if they catch their partners cheating on them.
To get the sufficient evidences, some of them were asked for their response if their partners have cheated them with the person from opposite sex, and some were told that their partners cheated them on the grounds of homosexuality.
Further revelations stated that while only half of the men accounted for act forgiving if their female partners cheated them with a male, the women seemed more tolerant when the same happened with them.
Most women stated that they will forgive their male counterparts if they were found cheating them with another male.
Jaime Confer, the lead investigator of the study, reasoned the findings by asserting that the men mostly suffer from the parenting issues whereas the women are more worried for abandonment.
