Hologram staff to inform flyers about security rules

Hologram staff to inform flyers about security rulesLondon Luton Airport has introduced a pair of holograms of real-life customer service staff in a bid to reduce security check queues.

The two holograms, nicknamed Holly and Graham, inform passengers about airline and luggage rules. The holograms that can be seen wearing golf shirts and dress pants suggest travelers how to prepare before entering the airport security area.

Earlier on Friday, Manchester Airport also introduced two holograms of two customer service workers viz. Julie Capper and John Walsh. These holograms have been installed at Terminal 1 of the Manchester Airport. The holograms will greet travelers, inform them about liquid restrictions and remind them about boarding cards.

Speaking on the new technology, Julie Caper said, "If our holograms help our passengers through the security process even quicker, then it will be a good thing."

The above mentioned holograms have been created using the same ultramodern technology behind music bands like Gorillaz.

Airport authorities confirmed that they had no plans to replace real employees with holographic ones.
