A women died due to food poisoning in ThailandA woman from New Zealand, who was on a holiday in Thailand died due to food poisoning. The woman was accompanied by two other friends who are seriously ill.

The women suffered food poisoning in Chiang Mai during a three week trip of Thailand and Vietnam.

23 year old, Sarah Carter along with her two friends Amanda Eliason and Emma Langlands fell sick during dinner at market where they tried different variety of food. She was an accountant at Wellington and lost her life at the weekend.

Ms. Eliason , 24, went through a heart surgery and is recovering in the intensive care. It is reported that a pump was inserted in her heart to keep her heart beating. Her mother was content by the efforts made by the hospital to save her daughter's life, she stated, the pump has been removed and her daughter is in recovering state.

Ms. Langlands, is in the general ward and is recovering.

Sarah Carter, was working as an accountant in BPO spicers. Euan Playle, company partner, stated that the sudden demise of Sarah Carter, has left the whole office in a state of shock. He also said that, Ms. Carter was an inspiring young women.
