Best video games nominations for the Game Award at the BAFTA British Academy Video Game Awards have been revealed.

The list of nominations for the Game Award includes Call of Duty: Black Ops, Red Dead Redemption, Halo Reach, Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain and Nintendo's popular video game- Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Family games like Dance Central and football in the form of FIFA 11 are also in the row. Online game Limbo is also nominated for the Game Award. It is the first time that an online game has got a place in the list of nominations for the Game Award.

The winner will be decided by the public. Last year, as many as 65,000 people had cast their votes, bestowing the crown at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The complete list of nominations for the judges' awards will be disclosed on 16th of February, with the awards ceremony set for the 16th of March.
