Emerging reports claim that Apple this year will refresh the MacBook Pro laptop line with Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors.
Danish blogger Kenneth Lund claimed that an employee of a retail store chain informed him on the condition of anonymity that refreshed versions of the MacBook Pro laptop would hit store shelves as soon as 1st of March 2011.
The date mentioned for the release of the revised versions of the MacBook Pro laptops falls on Tuesday, which is often the release day for devices like DVDs, video games and laptops.
In the meantime, a person familiar with the situation claimed that Intel's new Sandy Bridge processor will not be the only highlight of the revised Macbook Pro lineup. He said that the Cupertino-based technology giant would hike the value proposition of the revised lineup by adding some enhancements of its own.
Last spring, Apple updated its MacBook Pro laptops with major internal alterations like faster Intel Core processors, better NVIDIA GPUs and longer battery lives.
