RIM to launch two new models very soon

rim-PlayBook-tablet-i-e-LTEOn Monday Research in Motion (RIM) has made an announcement at the World Mobile Congress to come up with two new models. It has been planning to release two new versions of its PlayBook tablet i. e. LTE, Long-Term Evolution and 3G HSPA+ networks.

However it has not yet started the selling of earlier two models which it had announced earlier. The selling of these two tablets will begin by the end of this year.

Recently RIM has joined the Wi-Fi and WiMax models. It is planning to begin the selling of these models by next month.

The devices will be equipped to the Bluetooth tethering, connection to mobile hotspots through smartphones. It will also support other portable devices such as Wi-Fi hotspots, and BlackBerry Bridge.

BlackBerry Bridge is the software which has different aspects such as Messenger and E-mail from a BlackBerry Device on a PlayBook.

However, it was not disclosed by the RIM that which network operators will support the new models.

There are two other PlayBooks models which are waiting to be released by RIM. Out of the two models one will support Wi-Fi and another with Wi-Fi and WiMax.
