Batman: Arkham City previews

BatmanBatman: Arkham City, a sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum, which was released in 2009, has been developed by same team and writers.

But, those who saw Batman: Arkham City’s 30-minute demo at Microsoft's recent Conference in San Francisco claim that the new game is five time larger than its predecessor.

The demo covered a part of the game that depicted Catwoman’s "execution" by Two-Face, who captures her and decides to execute her publicly in the massive city of Arkham. Catwoman’s rescue involved loads of beat-downs & brawling.

The rescue string also showed Joker capturing a potshot at Catwoman using a sniper rifle from someplace else in Arkham city. Batman's Detective Mode is used to mark out the bullet route and determine Joker's location.

Batman leaps from the rooftops, and depicts his new gliding capability. Batman gains momentum and shows ability to pull back to attain altitude and glide further.

In the end, Batman is showed making his way inside of a church and comes head to head with Harley Quinn and four thugs, who are equipped with latest machine-guns. The thugs patrol the area and Batman hunts them one by one.
