Cupertino-based Apple last week confirmed that would introduce its much-rumored second-generation tablet, the iPad 2, on Wednesday. But, the rumor mill is still churning out new stories about the upcoming device.
A photo posted by 9to5Mac depicts the iPad 2 fitted with a white front bezel. 9to5Mac claims that the leaked photo of the Apple’s upcoming tablet confirms that the company would launch a white iPad this year.
It may be noted here that Apple had plans to launch a white iPhone 4, but it failed to offer the white version of its flagship handset.
Experts claim that Apple ditched its plan to offer the white iPhone 4 because the white paint allows too much light to trickle through around the camera and cause troubles with the internal sensors.
The iPad 2 is widely expected to come equipped with a front-facing camera. But, one can assume that the manufacturer has solved the concerned issue.
The iPad 2 is expected to feature a thinner and lighter body, equipped with A5 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, SD card slot, a rumored Thunderbolt port, along with iOS 4.3
