The Anthem Blue Cross is making efforts to raise funds for the purpose of benefit to one and all. There has been a recorded spending of $2million with the aid of the legislature of California. They have also been able to make another $1.6million with the help of contributions for their campaigns merely in the one year.

There are many claims made by the rival that the Anthem works for profit of self. The Blue Cross on the other hand says that it is not working for any such purposes and is not making any sort of personal profit since a long time.

In a declaration, the Blue Cross Insurance was of the view that it needs to increase the rate of premiums. They say it is a wise step and needs to be taken considering the rising costs of medical care. They also say that it shall benefit the general public who are I wait of appropriate and an adequate cover against the future illnesses.

"We would love for there to be greater transparency so that the public will have information on hospital rates that are contracted, so people can see the actual cost behind health coverage", said Nicole Evans of the California Association of Health Plans.
