According to a new report, health officials are of the view that that there has been a substantial rise in the number of children visiting the Doctor with an ear infection. There has been a decrease in the statistics over a period of 15 years.
The reason behind this pleasant drop according to the researchers of Harvard University is the apparent decrease in the smoking habits of the parents. This might result in less irritation in the ears of a child and consequently leads to reduction in the cases of ear infections.
