You may now be able to tell how likely your date is to cheat on you simply by listening to the pitch of his or her voice.
A new study led by Assistant Professor David Feinberg shows a relationship between voice pitch, a person’s hormone levels and their tendency towards infidelity. Feinberg says that men with higher testosterone levels have lower-pitched voices while women with high levels of estrogen have high-pitched voices.
The study found that high levels of testosterone (deep voice) in men and high levels of estrogen in women (high-pitched voice) increase their likelihood of cheating on their partner.
