Video game developer BioWare has newly rolled out an optional high-resolution texture pack for the PC version of its latest game- Dragon Age II.
The 1.08GB pack, which has been made available for download at BioWare Social Network, is chock-full with high-resolution texture.
Once the newly-released pack is downloaded and installed, the gamer is required to enable the pack through game’s “Menu” option. For better result and performance, the developer has recommended some system requirements for its 1024MB graphics card and DirectX 11.
Those who have a DirectX 10 card can be benefited from several of the DirectX 11’s new features. DX9 GPU owners can play the game, but will not be able to benefit.
The highly-anticipated Dragon Age II tells the story of Hawke, who is a survivor of the Darkspawn horde’s destruction of Lothering. Hawke emerges as the champion of Kirkwall.
Apart from PC, Dragon Age II is available Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3.
