Mobile phone operator 3UK finally listed the long-awaited Symbian-based smartphone, the Nokia E7, on the “Coming Soon” page of its website; however, no word was mentioned regarding the precise launch date and pricing of the device.
The business orientated E7 smartphone, which was first introduced in September last year, has been available in Finland since February. In the US, the device is available for pre-order through Nokia’s web store.
Finnish mobile phone manufacturer’s flagship E7 smartphone comes equipped with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, an 8-megapixel camera and a 4-inch AMOLED screen that features Nokia’s ClearBack technology.
Other striking features of the Symbian^3-based handset include 8GBs of on-board memory, high definition video support, HDMI output support, Microsoft Office for all document creating & editing needs plus Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync which provides users with instant & secure access to corporate email accounts.
The E7 is widely expected to be available in April. Expansys claims that it will start selling the E7 smartphone in early April, with a price tag of 494.99 pounds (for SIM free).
