A top company official has recently marked that the American Internet giant, AOL is cutting 700 jobs in total in India out of which 300 is the outsourcing number. The company has made 200 job cuts in the United States and about 700 in India.
AOL CEO, Tim Armstrong also told a television channel in an interview that, “So effectively, it's about 400 to 600 (job cuts) between India and the US. We've dynamically changed AOL over the last couple of years to really focus on content and restructure the organization starting with Europe and the US".
The 5,000 employees company has recently added the employees from the acquired Huffington Post and is restructuring part of the Asia operations. The effort has been made to collect the most talented group of people to work at the company.
The Huffington Post has served the company as an opportunity enabling it to continue to focus on the editorial quality and journalism. The personality has further marked below statement:

This statement has been marked in context to the announcement of a new brand format for advertising by AOL, which has got a good industry standard. Also, the company is working to improvise the communications area and will soon be out with a new e-mail format and a lot of other products in that area.
