The Apple iPad 2 and the Motorola Xoom are two of the hottest products available in the market, with both tablets boasting their respective features.
The Motorola Xoom has a widescreen that measures a little larger than the iPad 2’s 9.7-inch screen. The iPad 2 is easy to carry as it weighs merely 1.3 pounds as compared with the Xoom’s 1.6 pounds weight. Moreover the ipad
2 features tapered sides and thinner design.
On the other hand the Motorola’s tablet boasts of its Android 3.0, Honeycomb, operating system that has been designed specially for tablets.
As far as the keyboard is concerned, the iPad 2 is ahead of the Xoom. The Motorola tablet has larger button sizes and a Tab key, but the evaluator inputs data at full speed. The Xoom also provides better Web browsing experience. Its tabbed interface makes it easier to navigate through a multitude Web pages. Moreover, the Xoom supports Adobe System’s Flash Player 10.2.
However, lower price tags provide the iPad 2 with a cutting edge over the Motorola Xoom. The entry level iPad 2 has been priced at $499, while the higher-end iPad 2 costs $729.99 as compared with the Xoom’s list price of $799.99.
