The radiation from Japan has become a cause of concern all over the world. Every country is taking the required precautions to avoid the damage that can be caused by the radiation.
The authorities in the United States of America have also made sure that they are extremely cautious about the radiation. They have increased the screening of radiation levels all along the West Coast. After the increased screening, they have confirmed that there is no radiation expected in the US from Japan.
There are seven new radiation-monitoring devices installed in Guam, Hawaii and the Aleutian Islands off the Alaska coast. These devices have been installed by the Environmental Protection Agency. These devices will help the agency monitor radiation floating over the Pacific.
It has been assured by the authorities that the radiation particulars from the Japanese nuclear reactor will scatter much before they will reach California. They have requested the people of America to remain calm.
The UN’s Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty has issued a report about the radiation plume to 120 governments in different countries. The report will not be available for the general public. The particulars of the radiation are expected to dilute by more than 100,000 essentially harmless levels.
After studying all the reports, it has been confirmed that the people in the United States of America will be safe from the radiation.
