The main guitarist of Anthrax band, Scott Ian, will not be able to take part in the Sonisphere Festival show, which is supposed to take place in the United Kingdom in July. Ian and his wife are expecting their first child and that’s the reason he wants to be with his family. The ace guitarist has confirmed the news on website Anthrax. com.
Talking on that topic, Ian stated that being co-founder of Anthrax he has dedicated almost 30 years of his life to the band. But this time, he decided to miss all major shows because he wants to be with his wife just to experience the utmost pleasure and thrill of becoming a father for the first time. As per him, fatherhood will come as a blessing to him and it is the most pleasant experience that he is going to have.
Ian has also informed that Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser will be replacing him in the show. He said that band members jointly decided to make Andreas a part of the forthcoming show because he is known to be the best when it comes to show great performance. He is full of passion and has the spark as well as charisma make the concert vivacious.
