You are happy with your looks! As per a unique study, most of the women who are over-conscious about their outer appearance spend more time seaming though pages of beauty magazine.
For the study, the team of Ohio State University researchers roped in 160 people from a large Midwestern university to fill up a questionnaire on their opinion about their outer appearance. Following which, they were given two
21-paged magazines on computer.
The study observed that people who are insecure about their looks spend almost 50%more time on looking at the pages showing blonde models and reading through the dietary and fitness section of the magazine.
Responding to the study, study researcher, Silvia Knobloch-Westerwick, PhD, an Associate Professor of communication at Ohio State University in Columbus, claimed that most of the people have exhibited a tendency to flip through the pages of the magazine if they found no source of inspiration in the magazine.
Moreover, the study observed that many women secretively criticize the long and blonde models for exposing their looks on the international arena as they found themselves to be incompetent in front of them.
