Sprint to offer Nexus S 4G integrated with Google VoiceUS wireless carrier Sprint partnered with Google to introduce a version of the Nexus S that will arrive sometime this spring with 4G capability and Google Voice service.

The partnership will offer a new telephony web service which will let users to attach a single number to multiple phones, turn their voicemail messages into emails, and make free domestic calls in addition to free texts messages. Dialing international numbers will become cheaper.

However, neither Sprint nor Google disclosed the precise release date for the smartphone with the Google Voice integration.

When asked, Sprint spokesperson Mark Elliot said, "It's coming in the future, but we haven't set a specific release date for the integration as of yet."

Just like the original 3G Nexus S, the upcoming 4G model features a 4-inch Super AMOLED Contour Display, 1GHz processor, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a front-facing VGA camera for video calling and 16GB of internal memory.

In addition, the Nexus S 4G smartphone will come also incorporated with NFC technology.

The Nexus S 4G is capable acting as a 3G or 4G WiFi hotspot for a maximum of six devices.
