A Study on Bee's Brain, a Link to Human Brain as Well

It’s a known phenomenon that as we grow up, our physical and mental health starts declining. But recently, a Norwegian scientist has successfully reversed this aging process in bee brain, which may otherwise have a bearing on dementia.
This Norwegian scientist is none other than Gro Amdam, who is the lead author of this study, conducted at the Arizona State University. She said, "We accept that as we age, our health and mental acuity will decline. But recent findings indicate that aging doesn't have to be synonymous with going downhill".
The working structure of bees’ brain is almost similar to that of humans. Therefore Amdam conducted her research on bees.
So with such a study, when she finds the secrets behind what makes a bee brain jiffy that would also apply to humans.
According to a statement made by one of the Arizona member, her bee subjects were tested through a lab learning test. In this test the bees were challenged to mingle an impression (a scent) with a reward and to memorize that relationship later as well.
As a result it was found, that similar to children, the bees that are able to learn, are good in understanding the relationship immediately.
