EA/BioWare under fire for concealing anti-piracy features in Dragon Age 2

EA/BioWare under fire for concealing anti-piracy features in Dragon Age 2 EA and BioWare are reportedly under fire for not revealing anti-piracy features in the PC version of the Dragon Age 2.

It seems as publisher EA and developer BioWare did not make consumers and the anti-DRM watchdog groups about the use of SecuROM-like technology in the game. Dragon Age 2, which apart from PC is available for PlayStation 3 and XZbox 360, is a sequel to original Dragon Age.

The main character in the fantasy role playing game, Hawke, is customizable, which allows the player to play Hawke either as a man or a woman. In the game, the player (Hawke) goes from being an impecunious refugee to emerge as a prime mover and shaker.

Actions of Hawke and his team members are shaped by the player, who is made to make some odd choices. For example, he/she is made to determine whether he/she want to spend a year of servitude in a mercenary band or as a smuggler.

The game features beautiful dialogues and superb voice-acting, but some analysts believe that the game lacks polish.
