Toronto Activist Dudley Laws Died at 76The news of sadly demise of Toronto Activist Dudley Laws at the age of 76 has shocked the Toronto’s black community all around the world. As per the reports, Mr. Laws was undergoing a treatment for Kidney infection and the potential reason for his sudden death was identified to be a kidney disease.

Known for his fierce attack on the communities in the United Kingdom and in Canada for discriminating against the black community, Mr. Laws has been recognized for his daring attitude towards the Toronto police.

If old reports are to be digged, Mr. Laws had worked incessantly with the Black Action Defense Committee to fight for the rights of young black men of Toronto. Moreover, there are reports that say Mr. Laws was highly vocal about the ban on the manufacture, sale, and distribution of guns which he believed were part of the dithering situation of black community.

Recalling the participation of Mr. Laws in protecting human rights and justice, Toronto lawyer, Clayton Ruby reportedly claimed that Mr. Laws contribution towards the upliftment of the African-Canadian community will be remembered.

Moreover, Nzinga Walker, a member the Black Action Defense Committee, claimed that Mr. Laws was a catalyst for social welfare of human rights beyond the boundaries of African-Canadian community.
