Asus on Friday launched its brand new Android-powered 10.1-inch Eee Pad Transformer tablet that comes with a full keyboard dock that gives a laptop-like experience.
The convertible Android 3.0 Honeycomb-based Eee Pad Transformer’s 10.1-inch WSVGA LCD offers resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels. The screen has IPS technology and capacitive multi-touch support.
The list of the tablet’s striking features include 1GHz, dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 16GB/32GB of built-in flash storage, 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.
It also has 2-in-1 audio jack, SD/SDHC memory card reader, mini HDMI port, an internal microphone, one docking port and 2 stereo speakers along with a battery that runs for 9.5 hours on the Eee Pad itself.
In addition, the manufacturer has equipped the tablet with an HDMI-out port to allow users to display content on an HDTV.
