This spring season will set majority of Americans on cleaning drive as national telephonic survey by Rasmussen Reports reveals that nearly 72% of American adults are planning to clean or organize their home this spring.
Rasmussen survey was conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC and 1000 adults nationwide have participated in poll. The margin error provided is only of plus or minus 3%.
Spring cleaning has shown an increased trend as last year survey revealed that only 68% of American adults were ready to clean up their homes. About 59% Americans also disclosed their gardening plans along with cleaning schedule while 37% had no plans of gardening.
Most Americans showed less inclination towards vacation and travel plans as only 23% respondents are planning to take vacation, according to the survey. Bachelors are also less likely to be on vacation than the married adults during spring time.
Nearly 66% respondents feel that spring brightens up their mood and nearly 31% people have termed spring as their favorite season. Only 6% held winter as their favorite whereas summer is preferred by 32% respondents.
Most respondents are also not interested in taking home improvement projects this spring season as only 35% are planning to take improvement projects.
