Select Walmart stores are offering $100 towards the purchase of $250 Nintendo 3DS to gamers who will bring in up to two of their old Nintendo DS games consoles.
The buyback program will run until 30th of April or the end of supplies.
Other US retailer will begin selling the much-awaited Nintendo 3DS handheld on the coming Sunday, 27th of March.
In UK, the Nintendo 3DS was launched on Thursday midnight. Long line of Nintendo fans were reported in front of retailer like HMV in Oxford Street. A 22-year-old student, Marwan Elgamal, was the first to get a Nintendo 3DS after waiting since Wednesday night.
The device is 0.8-inch in thickness and come equipped two LCD screens- a 3.5-inch 3D screen at the top and a 3-inch touchscreen at the bottom.
The Nintendo 3DS is the first portable games console that allows gamers to play and enjoy 3D titles without any need to wear special glasses.
