The recently released Crysis 2, the sequel to Crytek’s original action game, takes gamers to aliens-hit New York City in 2023.
The game that is available in the US shows the city of New York in a devastated state due to lethal attacks by alien species.
While the original Crysis was released only for PC, the sequel has been made available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 as well. Crysis 2 is the first game produced by Crytek for multiplatform, thanks to the company’s powerful new graphic engine- CryENGINE 3.
In addition, Crysis 2 can be played in 3D stereoscopic format.
Speaking on the topic, Yerli from the company said, “We are thrilled that we have a quality product while offering the chance to explore the 3D world.”
The game portrays the city of New York under siege in an excellent manner. It features quite a lot cinematic excess. There are 6 game modes and 12 maps. But, the maps in the game are less spacious than those of the original game.
