Dragon Age 2 fails to live up to predecessor

Dragon Age 2 fails to live up to predecessorDeveloper BioWare’s Dragon Age 2, the sequel to Dragon Age: Origins, has widely left games frustrated because it failed to live up to predecessor.

Hawke, the main character in the fantasy role playing game, is customizable, which lets the player to play Hawke either as a man or a woman. Hawke rises from being an impoverished refugee to power. The story is set in Kirkwall.

The storyline is well written and the majority of the game is straightforward, but the gameplay in the game is far from satisfactory.

The new battle system of the game is makes multitasking in the battle far easier than it was in the previous game, but the pace of the battle falls victim to the new battle system. The player combats foes at an unbelievable speed. Such a swift battling makes a player feel as if he/she is watching a cartoon.

The third act of the game id highly glitch-ridden. There are some bugs that can prevent quests from completion. Overall, Dragon Age 2 lacks polish.
