The new Mortal Kombat game will not be available for a few more weeks, but a leaked picture has been posted on the Internet that is reportedly depicting the complete character select screen for the much-anticipated game.
The leaked picture shows believable faces as well as redesigns of the classic characters. But, the inclusion of Quan Chi suggests that the game will go somewhat beyond Ultimate MK3 because Quan Chi was not introduced until MK4.
However, it should be noted here that blind warrior Kenshi, which has already been confirmed as one of the first DLC characters, also did not debut until after Ultimate MK3. Kenshi first made appearance in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.
The second DLC character is in point of fact a brand new personality- Scarlet.
Earlier in an interview with CVG, NetherRealm producer Hans Lo has confirmed that Scarlet would appear in the new Mortal Kombat game for the first time. Scarlet is a female ninja based on a glitch on the Mortal Kombat 2 arcade cabinet.
