Nintendo’s most modern handheld gaming console, the Nintendo 3DS, is selling like hot cakes.
Nintendo has claimed that the device’s first-day sales in the US, where it made debut on last Sunday, March 27, surpassed sales of all other Nintendo handheld systems in company history.
The company didn’t disclose exact figure of the Nintendo 3DS’ sales, but it promised to provide more detail in coming days.
The Nintendo 3DS has received mixed marks from reviewers, who are not very happy with the device’s battery life but are praising the glasses-free 3D effects.
One of the reviewers said that the Nintendo 3DS is best gaming handheld created by the company so far.
The duel-screen Nintendo 3DS comes equipped with motion-sensors and more memory than its predecessor. Its 3D technology allows users to play & enjoy games in real 3D with naked eyes.
In the US, the Nintendo 3DS has been priced at $249.99.
