Cosmetic market is observing a never-before fan following and the credit does not even go to women.

With growing fad of good looks and young age, according to the experts at the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS), it is the men who are to be credited for the boom in the cosmetic surgeries.

It has widely accepted and accentuated by the plastic surgeons across the globe that men today have become much more conscious about their looks and are ready to shell out as much money as required for the operations.

All thanks to the growing life expectancy, Dr. Russell Knuden from ACCS asserted, "We're all working harder and longer, and now that we're living to 85, maybe we don't want to be bored for 30 years - maybe we're going to work longer and be seen to be productive”.

He further added that as the age ascends, with it rises the desire of looking and feeling young. Earlier people used to live up to the age of 60 but now it is 85 so, people don’t want to lose their careers and relevance.

Interestingly, although, the favorite among men are nip-tuck and liposuction, they are not shying away from Botox and laser treatments. Even nose jobs are also gaining popularity with each passing day.
