The beginning of the phase II trial of the Wareed health information system has been announced by the Health Ministry of UAE. The aim of this system is to create an upsurge the safety, quality and the efficiency of the public healthcare system. Their other goal is to be able to provide efficient patient care to the citizens of the nation.
With the application of the new technology, the benefits of the systems as well as software shall work towards the achievement of safety and accuracy simultaneously.
The Health Minister of UAE, Hanif Hassan Ali Al Qassim, said that the information system is a good way to achieve and make sure that progress made.
"We began implementing the health information systems of Wareed to improve the healthcare services in the ministry's facilities and in an initial step to connect the UAE's health facilities electronically in cooperation with all related authorities", Hanif stated.
There shall be a gradual link to as many as 14 public hospitals and as many as 68 affiliate clinics all over the Northern Emirates and Dubai together with an integrated system of the electronic medical records.
