Traveller's Tales' Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is almost certainly the best game in the franchise to date.
The developer has introduced a number of new elements into the gameplay. A picture-in-picture effect in the game lets the player to switch from one character's dilemma to another that efficiently adds to the feeling of suspense.
The player controls hundreds of familiar Star Wars characters and enjoys banging robots into Lego chunks and getting hold of collectables.
Two local players can team up to tackle a series of Star Wars themed levels built with Lego. The bulk of levels, which can be played alone, are platform & puzzle based.
The game also features a number of levels that can be played in the story mode as then in free play.
Graphically, the game is better than the previous games in the series. Enemies have been made better with the introduction of more diverse textures like animal fur.
